Rugby tri-series in Dorset

Axminster Primary School hosted our Year 5 and 6 Tag Rugby tri-series between Mrs Ethelstons, Axminster and Chardstock. The event was played after school in horrible conditions but that didn’t stop the children showcasing their skill sets. The event was won by Axminster who won three of their games and drew the other. All team showed numerous amount of teamwork, perseverance, resilience and sportsmanship throughout which pleased the large amount of supporters from each school. Special mention to Owen (Chardstock), Emily (Axminster), James (Mrs Ethelstons), William (Chardstock) who were chosen by the teachers for showing a number of sporting values throughout the event.
