Spring Term news from Mid Devon

Sandford: This half term at Sandford we have been working on hockey in PE with the focus on understanding the rules and leading into match situations. The year 3-4 football teams have played school matches against against landscore and the year 5/6 Tag Rugby team finished 3rd in the crediton areas six nations tournament


Landscore: This half term we have been doing gymnastics and dance in PE with the children working towards routines and performances. Our school teams have continued to enjoy sporting success. Our boys and girls Futsal team reaching the county finals, our year 3/4 football team have also reached the county finals. Our netball and Tag Rugby team have also won tournaments this half term.
Bow: At bow this half term we have been doing dance in PE working on movement and travelling. The school team did well to beat landscore 5-0 in netball last week.
Topsham: At Topsham this half term we have been working on Tag Rugby matches. All of the KS2 children have excelled in the tournaments and have shown fantastic team work and sportsmanship attributes.
Yeoford, Beaford and Winkleigh: Mr Gillard continues to see outstanding sporting ability and attitudes from his pupils. Well done to all and keep up the good work.
Witheridge: Miss Brooker has seen some excellent effort in PE this half term and there will be a holiday camp running over the Easter holidays.
Gatehouse: Mr Mugford continues to see progress from the pupils in both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. The children have been performing well in clubs and the school teams have buoyed success in the dawlish learning partnership events.
